Celebrity Sightings

I am blogging about this because it is a topic that always makes me laugh and whenever brought up makes for a long, amusing conversation. Everyone has their celebrity sighting story to tell and it is so funny all the hype going on when it happens. It's funny because when you tell someone- oh I saw so-and-so this weekend, then everyone wants to share theirs because you feel extra cool or something to have seen a famous person (no matter how famous the person is or not). So I will share my celebrity sitings that I can remember- Lil' Bow Wow came in to a restaurant when I was a hostess a few years back, Bill Murray was about 20 feet away from me with his sons at The Legends of Golf Tournament in Savannah a month or so ago, and the funniest and most recent was Flav 'R' Flave. We were at the wedding reception at the Intercontinental in Buckhead and pretty much half of the wedding guests were out in the lobby looking at this ridiculous character (yes, with the big clock around his neck). You can't help but feel cool for being that close to the hype, or I can't at least. What's even funnier to me is the standard for such "celebrity" status- apparently the bar is pretty low for me. I think it is even funnier that I am even posting this topic, probably for the purpose of bragging rights. Have any funny or cool celebrity sighting of your own?

The only celebrity that I know is Paula Deen. I have never "sited" a celebrity out and about though. But, it is funny how people like to talk about who they saw!!! :)

Over the weekend, I ran into Patrick Kisgen. The guys runs 3 Hot Dog stands in Savannah and is truly a celebrity.I tried to shoot him in the belly with a champagne top, but it did not work.
