Within 100

We are now under 100 days until Carter's due date- it may sound like a long time to some of you but for me it seems extremely close the way time is flying by right now. I can't tell you how excited we are for him to be a part of this family. Here is just a little of what has been going on with us lately.

Cooper: We believe that he is fully capable of walking, but is simply refusing the change from his speedy fast crawling. He is taking about 5 fast steps with his hands up in the air before he decides he is done, but loves to still hold on to something. I think he might be a little stubborn! He plays on the slip-and-slide at Ms. Nicole's daycare almost every weekday of this already HOT summer. He loves to dance and absolutely just loves to scream, out of both joy and frustration. We are all having a very fun time and learning that you don't really know what to expect each time you try and go out to eat or to the store.

Stephanie: I am getting adjusted to Patrick being gone 2-3 nights each week, feeling rather large, and oh released from all knee check-ups and all physical therapy. I am also doing some reading on effective ways to try and teach a little discipline to a one year old, though with Cooper's great big smile and bright blue eyes it is not easy.

Patrick: Getting adjusted to life on the road and full exhaustion when he gets home. Loving his new job, the people he meets along the way, and a new wealth of weapons knowledge.

Carter: Growing and kicking with a foot always in his Mom's right rib. An ultrasound found two small calcifications on his liver. Several tests were done (the tests were called TORCH titers) for possible viruses that might be the cause of the spots on his liver and any major viruses were ruled out. There does not seem to be any cause for concern at this time. Carter and I have check-ups every two weeks now- that means its getting much closer. Our OB-GYN has decided that at 30 weeks we will start doing frequent BPP tests (Biophysical profiling) to monitor fluids and everything surrounding Carter. This is common testing at the end of every pregnancy, but we are starting a little early and doing it a little more frequent due to the little scare at the end with Cooper. Again, not a cause for concern, but precaution.

Charlie: He is having fun with Cooper and trying to bare this heat, he spends most of his day lying on top of the a/c vents. He has a little summer allergy right now, but all-in-all hanging in there.

Oh and I am so happy to have just shared 6 years of marriage with Patrick. What an incredible 6 years, each one being so different and just truly awesome! I Love You! (I can't be cute like Haylee and post pictures of us dating from over 10 years ago because we were not using digital cameras back then).

Glad to hear that you are all doing so well! If you figure out how to effectively discipline a 1 year old please pass on the tips. Logan has begun to throw little tantrums when things don't go "his way." Bedtime and naptime is a nightmare! But it is so hard to get mad when he flashes that smile and I look into those big eyes! Although there are days when I want to call Nanny 911 (HAHAHA). Going to the store and out to eat is such a circus. You are right - you never know what to expect! Miss you! XOXOXO
