Savannah floods too

I know this does not compare to what has been going on in the mid-west lately, but Savannah has a tendency to have some flooding of its own. We were dressed to go the pool Saturday, but were unexpectedly stopped by the rains. It had been pooring for a very short time when we went outside to see this about 3 houses down (this is the second car these neighbors have had this happen to). Patrick then made a mad rush to move all our vehicles to higher ground. (The streets and sidewalks are missing)

It has to do with the tides and some of Savannah being built below sea level so many years ago. Thankfully, the water ran off and the streets were clear within a few hours, but there was still some major damage in a few short hours.
