Friends and Family
Over the weekend Patrick and I threw a very fun holiday dinner party for our local friends (we can go ahead and call it 2nd annual Christmas dinner but at our new home). I even got to use both table leaves in the dining room table, I was really able to embrace the joy of gathering during the holidays. Saturday Paula and Carl came to celebrate early Christmas with us (to help cut back our traveling). We had a great visit, always too short. We drove around the neighborhood to look at festive lights and Cooper said lots of "Oh wow's" and at one house was "Oh Wow, Hellow".
All the gifts are wrapped, we have mass to attend Christmas eve, await a visit from Santa (we tried to be good), play Christmas morning, then head to the mountains for Christmas with the Kisgens. Sounds busy, but to me it just means there are many many things to be thankful for.
