Wow I am posting a current blog! Feels good, feels very good.
This past Saturday we participated in the annual Cystic Fibrosis walk here in Savannah. We have seen better turnouts, but there were many other charity walks in Savannah that day so I think many were obligated elsewhere. The walk still managed to raise a great amount of donations for CF research- a cause we always want to see improvements to a cure. Thanks for everyone who donated and Joy and Eric for coming out and walking with us this year.
A few more things going on: Carter is seriously about to crawl...right now he is rocking back and forth on his knees then shoots forward. I even tried using baby knee pads this weekend because he kept scrunching up his face and squeeling after being up for a little while, but it did not quite happen. I have been trying to get it on video the last few days and not miss it but all I got was some forward jolts.
Thursday, Patrick and I are boarding a cruise ship and sailing to the Bahamas (all by ourselves)! We are so pumped and talk about it every day. We have an excursion booked and books to read and look forward to the naps that will be had. Paula has come down to keep Cooper and Carter for us while we are at sea, she is going to be pooped!
