Ok so getting a picture of the two of the boys together these days is near impossible. One is unhappy and the other wants to be on the go or be in charge. That is why there is no picture of them together in their Easter "best's" or even in their sweet bunny ears together, in fact I do not even have one picture of Carter in his Easter Church outfit. These moments are so sweet, but sooooo hard to catch and gone in a flash.
Patrick did make it home from the Master's on Easter Eve around 11:30pm. We headed to church, where Cooper would normally go in the nursery- not this day- nope he had to stay in his mom's arms the entire time. Then we were going to treat ourselves to a very nice Easter Brunch at the Hyatt on Riverstreet. It was delicious and beautiful, but we could not relax and enjoy it too long as Cooper had no appetite and insisted that we go bye bye from the time we got out of the car. A long nap was had when we got home and then a fun Easter Egg Hunt in the front yard. The Easter Bunny (more than one this year) brought the boys some nice treats- it's fun watching Cooper say oh wow when he opens his gifts. Glad to know he is thankful....as we are thankful for the gifts we receive on Easter and always.
Two things I oops'd on this year- I could not find Cooper's Easter basket and did not have lots of time to hunt so he used a bucket to find his eggs this year. Second...yes that is a heaping glob of chocolate on his outfit. I am a terrible Mom and clothes protector. There was a chocolate fountain at brunch and we dipped a pretzel in it and tasted it- I clearly did not think ahead on that one but it was one of the only things all day that made him happy so it kind of was worth it.

I know there are a lot I just have a very hard time deleting them b/c they all show something different and some type of character (haha, I say that a lot don't I)

Don't feel bad. I still hunt my eggs in a bucket.
