Coop and Charlie have really become best buds- Cooper gives him big hugs and is the first thing he looks for when he gets up in the morning and heads downstairs. Charlie is very tolerant- he just sits there and lets Cooper pretty much do what he wants. The funniest was this weekend when Memama was in town and Cooper wanted to take Charlie out on the leash, but Charlie would not budge. So Cooper made a large effort and went behind him and tried to lift his bottom up. He was unsuccessful, but the effort was notable.

Cooper at 16 months
Cooper is a funny little guy. He likes to say uh uh (as in no) any time you ask him a direct question. He loves to say hello to every single person you walk by in the store as loud as he possibly can "H-E-Y-Y-Y-Y!" And best of all, Cooper loves to smile big and laugh. It is really amusing to just sit back and watch him in action- well until you have to stop what is about to happen.
A new obsession of Cooper's has taken place the last two nights and I have to post it because Patrick is not here to see. Cooper loves his alligator shoes (like crocs). After his bath each night he told me, in so many words, that he wanted something out of his closet but I had no clue what it was. I opened the closet and he immediately got his shoes out and insited that I put them on his feet. He went about his routine, we read books and I laid him down to sleep and when I tried to take the shoes off, he was furious. I put the shoe back on and fast asleep he fell.

TOO CUTE!!! That is so funny how they get attached to certain items at certain times! The house looks so great Stephanie! Congratulations again!
I love Cooper's room - absolutly beautiful! I know Carter's room will be the same.
