Wednesday, I had several appointments and GG and Grandpa were in town- so I took the day off. GG watched Cooper for a few hours and I love the comment when I came home, "Wow, he just goes non-stop". He absolutely loves to play hard and be adventurous until he crashes..... every single day. We had a very fun afternoon at the beach. Patrick, sorry you were so far away in Missouri. Cooper used his new found walking skills all day to roam the sand and walk up to groups of girls and flirt with them. He has absolutely no fear, the ocean waves were so exciting to him.
The only sad thing about the day was that when he woke up that morning a sneaky spider had bitten his ear in his sleep and it was HUGE. Look at his pictures closely (though you probably don't have to), his right ear is sooooo big. It's all better now, but I felt terrible all day when I would look at him- it did not seem to bother him a bit (haha no pun intended).
Truly, the beach, almost any beach, is my favorite place to be at any given time. It has taken some effort to persuade Patrick that we do not always have to go to the pool, but he is coming around. I guess I am just a product of Tybee Sundays from childhood- pack up the ice chest full of food and drinks, head 15 minutes to Tybee, and spend the day with the same group of other families on the beach (not a bad thing to be a product of, huh). It's funny how life comes full circle- never in a million years did I think I would be taking my own children to Tybee Beach on a regular basis.
His poor ear :(
