Friends decided at the last minute to come down and join us for one of the largest St. Patrick's Day celebrations in the nation- here in Savannah. Most of the city is shut down, unless they have something to do with the parade or eating. It turned out to be a gorgeous day weather wise and we had a lot of fun- the kids and the adults! Tony & Tasha's wedding anniversary is March 17th also, so this is their anniversary tradition. My Dad got to celebrate his favorite Savannah tradition with us but some how he did not make it in to any of the pics. I might compare the event to a UGA tailgate (except you see green for miles instead of red), you wake up early, pack chairs and a cooler of beverages and can not forget the corned beef sandwiches. And if you can't get a good picture in your head because you have not been to a UGA tailgate before than you should probably not be reading our blog, haha j/k it's just one of our favorite things in the world and want everyone to experience it. Luck O' The Irish (everyone in Savannah gets to be Irish for a day).
