Coletta Cookbook

I mentioned a new cookbook recently and I want to share and promote it! Patrick's Uncle John Coletta is a renowned chef and has a restaurant in downtown Chicago, Quartino. He just published an Italian cookbook, that we got the pleasure of getting a signed copy before it was on the shelves. The cookbook is now available on Amazon.com and other book selling sites, not sure which stores carries it.

Title:
250 True Italian Pasta Dishes: Easy and Authentic Recipes John Coletta Author, Nancy Ross Ryan Author

The recipe found on Page 120 was the first recipe we chose from the book to make. It was fantastic, bursting with flavor. After choosing, we found it that was a family favorite in the Coletta household. The cookbook has some delectable sounding dishes, I can not wait to try on my family and friends. I love that the beginning of the book has this pasta shape/name guide as reference. The book has several suggestive ideas with each recipe to substitute or compliment the dish. It's always hard looking at the many cookbooks on the shelves and knowing which one to get, so I will save you the trouble and go ahead and pick this one up- you will not be disappointed. Bon Appetit!
