Our old gang of friends was in need of an overdue get-together. Each time we come to Atlanta, it's hard to see everyone with all of our growing families and moving away and social commitments...........so we thought we would bring them all here. Patrick organized a friend weekend at our house with the "guys", their significant other, and any children. A few were unable to join us but hopefully will the next go round.

Yes, we all have boys, no girls, with our 2 being the oldest of the attendees.
Our children were happy to entertain and share their home with everyone (oh and us of course). We ate, drank, smiled as the children played together, learned who each child would bond with, watched the guys do stupid things and laughed a lot at each other. It was an absolute blast!!!!
No matter how long it has been, things never change.................we all live in different places, all have different types of jobs, all have different ways of parenting, all lead busy schedules, but all benefit from spending time together and sharing friendship. I know I know mushy mushy but I truly left the weekend with a smile on my face (well, and a hangover) from having so much fun now as families and not just young kids.
